NAIL BITING FINALLY OVER FOR WARNER BROS?: EARLY REVIEWS IN ON 'MAN OF STEEL'
Early reviews are good, extremely good...almost too good, heck they're glowing like kryptonite! "Best movie of the year" "Kicking all kinds of ass" "The cape is CG'd most of the time so it can look awesome" and the hype-filled quotes keep coming like a super-villian. The only problem is, and you'll pardon my cynicism this once, because I don't like having my leg pee'd on and being told it's raining, but this early screening was done at WB. Are we to believe that a bunch of WB suits watched an early screening of this film, saw what could only be described as the second coming of Christ in a cape, and should be trusted to deliver the Good News? Surely, WB jests !

This film could possibly be a hit, but it's under some serious scrutiny. Fans and critics have been waiting with baited breath to hold the Man of Steel's feet to the fire to see if a new Superman film will enthrall like the latest Batman flicks. So forgive me if I'm not ready to trust early reviews from execs with a vested interest. I'll be my own judge; just SHOW ME THE MONEY (shots) !
